Ghorahi Dang, 06 December – Dang Valley College has emerged as the champion at the 4th National School Level Hapkido Championship, held at the college grounds in Ghorahi, Dang. The event was organized by the Nepal Hapkido Association in collaboration with Dang Valley College Hapkido Dojang and took place from 03 to 06 December. Dang Valley College delivered an outstanding performance, securing 9 gold, 9 silver, and 12 bronze medals to claim the overall title.

The runner-up position went to Gorkha Ideal School, Lalmatiya, which won 5 gold and 3 bronze medals. Durga Secondary School from Dadeldhura secured third place with 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
The winners were awarded certificates, medals, and trophies in the presence of prominent figures, including Visal Thapa, Chief Instructor of Dang Valley College Hapkido Dojang and competition coordinator, Thaman Basnet, Principal of Shubh Sandesh Shiksha Sedan, Kali Bahadur Gharti Magar, Founder & President of the Nepal Hapkido Association, Mohammad Samir Halwai, Deputy Secretary, Rajendra Madai, Central Member, Prabin Gurung, Chief Instructor, and Sudip Tamang, Assistant Chief Instructor.
The title of Best Player was awarded to Chandra Saru Magar from Durga Secondary School, Dadeldhura in the men’s category, and Megma Gurung from Mahendra Secondary School, Kaski in the women’s category.
In the Rising Star category, the honors went to Karlas Khadka of Gorkha Ideal School, Lalmatiya for men, and Jasleen Paudel of Sagarmatha School, Gogli for women.
For referees, the Best Referee awards were presented to Amrit Gurung of Nuwakot (men) and Elisha Khadka of Dang (women). In the discipline category, awards were given to Dhiraj Paudel of Chitwan (men) and Dilu Tamang of Rautahat (women).
Dang Valley College, Hapkido Dojang also received the Best School Dojang award. The five-day championship saw participation from 154 schools representing all seven provinces of Nepal.
